Vincent G. Forgione President, New Frontier Real Estate Development Inc. Mr. Forgione leads New Frontier Companies’ development division, New Frontier Real Estate Development. He brings over twenty years of experience in the real estate industry overseeing development, financial/risk analysis, budgeting, investor relations, lender negotiations and lender relations, regulatory and legal compliance, and operation management. During his tenure, the company completed over $1 billion in development of commercial, retail, and residential development. Mr. Forgione is the principal representative of the development team serving the University of Illinois - Chicago, in its efforts to develop its south campus (University Village). New Frontier Companies and its partners in University Village provided all of the development services needed to build a new 68 acre neighborhood on the near South Side of Chicago. This neighborhood will have 892 new private residences, additional apartments for 1,500 students, over 120,000 square feet of retail space, commercial office space, a 350 car parking garage and a new convocation center for the University. Susan Weber
Susan Weber Chief Financial Officer/Treasurer, New Frontier Companies As the Chief Financial Officer Ms. Weber is responsible for managing the diverse financial activities and banking relationships for all New Frontier Companies. Her responsibilities include the review of portfolio and investment strategies with firms, overseeing tax, audit and compliance filings within the company portfolio and the supervision of employee salary, benefits and planning for 250 employees throughout the State of Illinois as well as budgeting and reporting to the New Frontier Companies’ Board of Directors. Prior to joining the New Frontier Companies in 1978, Ms. Weber served as an Accountant for Coopers & Lybrand in Spokane Washington, and as a Tax Auditor for the North Dakota State Tax Department. She received her Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Accounting from North Dakota State in 1976. She became a Certified Public Accountant in 1977 is a member of the Illinois C.P.A. Society and passed the Series 65 investment exam for registration as an Investment Advisor. Jeff Richards
Jeff Richards Director of Acquisitions, New Frontier Real Estate Development, Inc. Mr. Richards joined the New Frontier Companies in 2003 and became the firm’s Director of Acquisitions in 2005. His professional experience with identifying growth-based investments, risk management, public and private finance, preservation of government subsidies (e.g. Project-Based Section 8 and Section 42 properties), and navigation of the investment process provides the Company with unique insight into acquisition, development, and recapitalization opportunities for both market-rate and affordable multi-family properties. Mr. Richards worked as a financial professional in United States and Europe. As an Associate for a Corporate Venture Capital Fund based in Munich, Germany, he analyzed direct technology investments throughout Europe and managed the Fund’s due diligence process. Additionally, Richards has served as a Financial Director for two highly successful technology companies. During his tenure, Richards helped both firms secure additional private investments and implemented financial and operational best practices. Thomas Storniolo
Thomas Storniolo Controller, New Frontier Companies As the Controller of New Frontier Companies, Mr. Storniolo oversees all accounting and tax related matters. He joined the New Frontier Companies in 1998 and brings over 25 years of financial management experience to his position as Controller. Mr. Storniolo began his career at the CPA firm of Wolf and Grieco where he developed a passion for taxes and finance; the common thread for every position he has held throughout his career. After gaining experience as a tax accountant for the manufacturer, Joanna Western Mills, he advanced as the Tax Manager of S-B Power Tool Company and held the position as Finance Manager of John O. Butler Company. He became a Certified Public Accountant in 1988 is a member of the Illinois C.P.A. Society. Education BS Accounting and Finance, DePaul University, Chicago, IL.
